Steph, who’s an expert in this, had been saying I should go for weeks. But of course I didn’t want to go on my own. I wouldn’t know what to say, how to ask for it. And then they’d inquire about specifics and I’d look really silly not even using the appropriate vocabulary. It’s one of those things you just can’t fake. If you’ve never had one on your back and in your mouth, well, let’s just say it makes it hard to determine what size best suits you.

But this was Pride weekend so we had to do something outside of our routine. Anything but another parade, please! Promising two days of naturally liberating fun she finally convinced me to come along with her, adding there was a special bra she wanted to get for herself.

The place was huge. It’s amazing the number of people, men and women alike, who are into that stuff. I am more the type who will listen in awe to others recounting their own courageous exploits. It always seems a little too wet and dirty to me… too much heavy breathing and sweating, not enough time to rest…

Steph walked right up to the counter. It was covered with pictures of all sorts of bodies wearing different extreme get-ups, most with multiple straps. I think I spotted a woman tied up in some ropes and a guy right above her head, just hanging. Click here for full article
