Bigger is better! Get (your feet) wet with an exciting new layout at Los Angeles' largest erotic extravaganza! When the 9th Annual Erotica Los Angeles returns to the LA Convention Center! June 10th - 12th Los Angeles CA

As the subject of sex and erotic delights become more mainstream, the Erotica Los Angeles (ELA) convention continues to grow in popularity! Now, in its 9th consecutive year, the show is estimated to fill more than 250,000 square feet with intimate shopping and culture, play host to 40,000 consumers, and over 275 vendors – all in an exciting new format.

This year, the show has expanded into a third convention hall, creating one giant entertainment and shopping megaplex that will be featuring three interconnected marketplaces. These marketplaces will be defined by genre or product making it easier for attendees to understand the show layout and it will give them the ability to map out areas that will be of particular interest to them. The convention will run June 10-12, 2005 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and is sponsored by LA Weekly and The Erotic Museum in Hollywood.

ELA 2005 will also boast more seminars, meet-and-greets with fans as well as new and sensational live entertainment! And for art aficionados, the convention will again feature a satellite exhibit filled with erotic masterpieces, interactive pieces and antiquities from the Erotic Museum in Hollywood. In addition, a 3,650 square foot satellite exhibit from the XART Gallery filled with Sensual & Erotic original contemporary art will be on-hand.

“We are very excited to offer consumers so many more choices this year,” stated Chad Beecher, Vice President of Marketing & Operations for ELA. “Our three marketplaces focusing on the Romantic, Gay and “X” genres will offer consumers an environment where they can easily and comfortably navigate the selection of vendors, indulge in the varieties of entertainment, and partake in discovering and exploring their specific interests. We also expect many more “ELA Virgins” this year, and by
separating product, entertainment and lifestyle into these marketplaces, it will be a more tailored and enjoyable experience for all. Attendees can explore one area or all three marketplaces, which allows them to choose their level of exposure to the world of erotica.”

Last year, ELA broke attendance records with over 30,000 singles, couples, women, and men who were there to check out more than 200 merchants, including Romantix, Redlight District, Forplay, Lifestyles, Wicked Pictures, West Coast Customs, Real Doll and Syren. Ongoing live stage shows that were professionally choreographed, also entertained audiences featuring lingerie and fashion shows, burlesque dancers, Erotica LA’s own version of Cirque du Soleil TM , Cirque D’Erotica, an All-Male Revue and non-stop prize and product give-aways. Attendees can expect even more great stage shows this year with the addition of a second entertainment stage: The romantic section will feature lingerie and sexy attire fashion shows, while the “X” section will feature racier shows including fashion, exotic dancer revues and more.

To further educate the public about improving their romantic, intimate and sexual lives, the convention will also be launching an expanded educational program, doubling what was offered in 2004 and providing more topics, sessions and workshops to cover the broad spectrum of consumer interest. Last year’s seminars included two great talks by Erotica Los Angeles’s Spokesperson, Dr Ava Cadell, who taught attendees how to Unleash Your True Sexual Prowess and Discover Tantric Sex.
Additional seminars hosted by experts included Mating and Dating in Cyberspace, Seven Secrets To Fabulous Foreplay, Safe Sex Facts 101 and Sensual Massage Made Easy.

Erotica Los Angeles, now in its ninth consecutive year, and growing substantially each year, is world-renowned for introducing new products, services and concepts in the world of romantic, sensual and erotic entertainment. Over the past decade, sensuous entertainment has become more accessible to the public and the headlining industry has become the consistent subject of mainstream network and cable shows. Erotica Los Angeles is one of the first conventions to take this mainstream
entertainment directly to the consumer. Erotica Los Angeles brings together merchants, exhibitors, talent, educators and consumers alike in the most newsworthy and entertaining event of the year!
