(Frequently asked Questions)

What is Fetishlink?
Fetishlink is a human moderated Fetish Link Site, with personal classifieds and discussion forums - a Fetish Community Web Site. This gives the site a far larger design advantage over many of the other link sites out there, as supplied information can be tailored to fit the general site design. It also gives us greater control over the content of the site. Fetishlink is backed up by a full time team of moderators. The advantage of this will become apparent as the site is developed and becomes more busy.

If the site is Free, why is there a members section?
Fetishlink is a free site, and will stay a free site. The Members sections are free to join. You only need to join them if you want to add a classified advert, leave a message in the forum, receive a newsletter from the site, or at some stage join in any activity we might arrange. A members section gives us control over who can post and the subject material posted. Anything offensive or Illegal can therefore hopefully be filtered out, and anyone responsible banned from the site.

What will I find on Fetishlink?
A lot! You will find sites devoted to almost any (legal) fetish. Sites relating to BDSM, Femdom, Fetish Photographers, listings of clubs and events, a comphrehensive world wide guide to professional mistresses, madames, dominas, dominatrices, and goddesses. Articles, Stories, Galleries Classified Ads and much much more!

What won't I find on Fetishlink?
If you're looking for links to standard hardcore pornography you won't find that here. We link to sites that while adult, erotic, fetish and/or bdsm related are not your generic porn sites. We also do not list scat, bestiality, pregnancy or similar sites, as these activities are either illegal in the UK or grossly offensive to our viewers. Nor do we list 'lolita' or 'teen' sites. Because Fetishlink is hand moderated, we only list sites we feel to be of interest to the Fetish and BDSM community.

How do I get my site listed?
Easy! Just fill out our online submission form HERE. Our webmaster will review your submission and assuming there are no problems will add it to our database and update pages. All we require in return is a return link to Fetishlink on your front or main page.

Why isn't (insert site here) listed?
Could be a number of reasons. The site may fall outside of the Fetish/BDSM arena. We may not know about the site! (Highly possible given the number of websites out there!) The site may have refused or not responded to a link request from us. We generally only list sites with their permission and a return link from them.

Ok, how do I get (insert site here) listed?
Depends. If you are the owner, webmaster or administrator of the site you can submit it via our online form. If you are not then fill out our 'Recommend a Site' form. We'll then check the site out and they are of interest, offer them a link exchange.

What are those little no entry () symbols for ?
These are to report a broken link, if you click on a site and it doesn't work, click on this symbol next to site to send me an email so I can check the site from my end

What are those little no entry () symbols not for ?
A lot of people seem to think they send an email to the site owner (as in the site they are next to!) They do email a site owner, but it's me! If you want to email a site, go to it and check it's contact information!

I have a question not answered here, how do I get it answered?
Email our webmistress. She's always happy to answer any questions you may have about the site.
